Frequently asked questions
Why do you charge for usage?
We believe in fair and transparent pricing. We don't think that a small website should subsidize the cost of heavy users so we offer a fair base price and users who exceed that are charged only for what they use.
What usage is included in my plan?
All plans come with a generous monthly usage credit. For many projects, the included credit is enough to cover the entire cost of all metered services.
What happens if I go over my credits?
Projects that need extra usage beyond the credits included in their plan will be billed at the rates below. Paid plans are billed in arrears, meaning you'll be charged for any usage that exceeds your credit at the end of the month. The free tier is asked to pre-pay credits up front.
What can promotional credits be used for?
Promotional credits may only be used on services consumed by products built with Proto Studio. Direct API traffic is not eligible for promotional credits.
